I started my career in Public Relations in Feb 2021.

That was a conscious choice, as our CID President, Mr. Patrick Morales personally invited me to work in his company and promised me that I'd have good career growth and a better working environment; so I went to do Public Relations.

Mr. Patrick “Patmo” Morales, President of CID Communication

I started as a Media Relations Officer in CID Communication and was promoted to Program Manager after six (6) months. I wasn't prepared for the promotion and was hesitant to accept it at first, given that I was fairly new in this industry. It felt like I was a soldier thrown into battle with no ammunition, surrounded by chaos and uncertainty, completely unprepared for the intense challenges that lay ahead. But, I still went for it! Through the challenges of that battle, I was able to discover and harness my inner strengths and capabilities, allowing me to delve deeper into my potential.

Is it difficult to work in the Public Relations field? Transitioning into the Public Relations field can present challenges, particularly for those with completely different backgrounds. To thrive in PR, one should not only understand the field but also hone their skills and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.

How did I thrive? Through research, colleagues, and courage.

CID Communication acts as a guiding force by offering suggestions rather than outright solutions, encouraging personal growth, and fostering understanding. This approach cultivates self-reliance and more profound insight into various perspectives, enabling a richer and more fulfilling learning experience.

Throughout my journey, amidst the challenges and difficulties, I still find solace and joy in the vibrant and rewarding moments with CID Communication. These experiences have not only shaped me but continue to uplift and inspire me as I move forward.

For the past three (3) years, it's been a fun and memorable journey organizing our events. Witnessing the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by my CID Communication family as they dressed up in alignment with our chosen themes was truly heartwarming. Their commitment to each event added an extra layer of excitement that made each occasion even more special and enjoyable.

Also, I have had the privilege of attending the prestigious Carlos Palanca Awards ceremony. This event left an indelible mark on me as I had the opportunity to interact with our esteemed media colleagues. The experience was truly enriching and unforgettable, providing me with valuable insights into the intricacies of the media industry and fostering meaningful connections that continue to resonate with me.

Hong Kong Disneyland – This is me at the Happiest Place on Earth last Nov 2023.

This was me last year experiencing the magic of Disneyland in Hong Kong. I was invited to partake in a memorable campaign that involved coordinating with our KOLs. Being at the "Happiest Place on Earth" transported me back to the carefree days of my childhood. I met a lot of kind-hearted individuals and made friends with them. Although the experience was physically taxing, it was undeniably rewarding and left an indelible mark on my memory.

Reflecting on my journey, I can hardly express the depth of my gratitude for the decision to launch my professional path in the dynamic field of Public Relations
